Every design project relies on materials and equipment supplied by others. When incorporating those elements into a project, design professionals rely on information supplied by the manufacturer. Technology and an increase emphasis on energy efficiency and sustainable projects has increased the speed of new products becoming available, but often without the benefit of the test of time.
