As a proud member of The Professional Liability Agents Network (PLAN), Poole Professional is happy to announce an upcoming webinar that can earn 1 AIA/CES learning unit for architects and qualified continuing education credits for engineers.
"Coordination 5(+) Ways" will be presented Tuesday, February 20, 2018 2:00-3:00PM EST.
Coordination – easy to say, but hard to execute. Successful design and construction projects must navigate at least five zones of significant coordination: owners, design‐team, other consultants, building officials, and contractors. Effective and efficient role definition, expectations, communication, coordination, and collaboration at each level leads to the most successful, satisfying, and profitable projects. However, each of those elements also holds the real risk for failures, losses, and claims. This webinar will build on dispute and claim examples to provide contract clauses, and project delivery templates to establish a strategic model for successful design team management and collaboration from project selection through project closeout.
Our presenter is David A. Ericksen from Severson & Werson, an attorney who specializes in representation of design and construction professionals.
All you need to participate is a computer with a high-speed internet connection, a soundcard and speakers. The cost is free for all participants. Attendees can register up to the time the webinar begins.
New and Improved Registration: PLAN is undertaking a new streamlined process for webinar registration. The new process requires fewer steps, provides registrants the information they need to access the webinar immediately, and collects the necessary information to award AIA credit (AIA approval accepted).
