Cummings Architects recently completed phase one of work on a historic property in Amherst, New Hampshire. This New Hampshire Homestead features a historically inspired bathroom with a custom double vanity from salvaged boards and an open shower with exposed timber. Gill Fishman Associates has recently launched a new branding campaign for Gateways: Access to Jewish Education-and has won a prestigious Graphic Design USA national award for Maud Morgan Arts website.
William Rawn Associates was awarded a 2017 AIA/ALA Library Building Award for its work on the Boston Public Library Renovation. The firm redesigned the space to accommodate the library's 21st century audience, creating a more fluid connection between the wings of the library and adding a number of highly interactive spaces. BKA Architects participated in the South Shore Habitat for Humanity's "Women Build" fundraising event last month. "Women Build" encourages women to make a difference by building homes and communities. Through WB, women learn construction skills, gain confidence at the build site and create hope. WB challenges women from all walks of life to come together to help eliminate poverty housing one home at a time.
